Description
Pressure relief valve, a kind of hydraulic pressure control valve, plays the role of constant-pressure relief and safety protection in the hydraulic equipment. Generally it has two kinds of structures: direct acting relief valve and pilot relief valve. It covers various model of RF, DRF, HRF, SRF, DSRF, HSRF.
The main basis for the selection of relief valve is its role in the system, the rated pressure, the maximum flow, the pressure loss value, the performance parameters and the service life, etc. Generally the specifications (pressure rating and diameter) can be selected from the catalogue in accordance with the maximum pressure of the hydraulic system and the flow through the valve.

Note of Pressure Relief Valve
Recommended viscosity：15 to 400mm2/s
For the valve with a return oil damper, the viscosity range must be 20 to 200mm2/s
Recommended oil: Petroleum base hydraulic oil - equivalent to ISO Vg32, Vg46 and Vg68 oil
Synthetic hydraulic oil - phosphate ester hydraulic oil
Water base hydraulic oil – water-glycol hydraulic oil
Working temperature: -15 to 70℃
Pollution control: Please ensure the pollution level to be NAS1638-11
Pressure adjustment: When you adjust the pressure, loosen the elastic nut, slowly turn the handle clockwise to increase the pressure or counter clockwise to reduce the pressure. Don’t forget to lock the nut after finishing adjustment.
Return oil form: If the pressure relief valve is used to control the pressure, then the internal capacity of the oil return will become too big, which may result in frequency vibration. Therefore, you should reduce the pipe length and diameter as much as possible.
Flow rate selection: Pressure adjustment will be unstable if the flow is small. The flow rate should be greater than 8L/min if the specification of 04 or 06 is used, and should be greater than 15L/min if the specification of 10 is used.
